THE POWER OF CONNECTION

A place to
belong.

At Eshbal, young people find a place to belong. In our kennel and stable, they also discover what it means to be needed. Feeding, listening, showing up — small acts of care become a daily practice of trust and responsibility.

Our dogs and horses are part of that story. The stable and kennel are already active. Now we’re raising $500,000 for a protected room, practical learning and a sustainable future for the whole center.

YOUNG PEOPLE. DOGS. HORSES.

Growing together.

When young people care for animals, they discover new possibilities in themselves.

A second chance.
For both of them.

Abandoned dogs find care, routine and a warm temporary home. Young people help train them for adoption — learning patience, communication and the power of giving along the way.

Care becomes responsibility.

Trust isn’t taught.
It’s built together.

A horse asks for presence, patience and clear communication. Through riding and daily care, young people practice confidence, boundaries and trust — one relationship at a time.

Connection becomes confidence.

WHAT WE’RE BUILDING

One room.
Two purposes.

Our stable and kennel are already built and operating. The next essential step is a protected room for the young people and staff of both programs. In daily life, that same space will become a professional dog grooming salon and a place to learn practical skills.

ABOUT ESHBAL

A community.
A home.

Eshbal is a kibbutz of educators in the Galilee, part of Dror Israel. For young people who live here, it offers a caring residential community and the opportunity for a fresh start.

The center grows out of that everyday life. Dedicated educators, shared responsibility and meaningful relationships surround the work with dogs and horses. Learning continues beyond a session in the stable or kennel.

A whole community.
Showing up, every day.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Your questions,
answered.

Can I spread my commitment over three years?

Yes. The campaign’s organizational framework through Dror Israel (Dror Educational Houses) allows commitments to be paid over as many as three years. Contact Gilad to agree on a schedule and the appropriate payment route.

How can I give from the United States or Canada?

You can use the online donation form. For questions about giving routes or receipt arrangements in your country, contact Gilad.

Are there opportunities for a leadership gift?

Yes. We welcome conversations about founding partnerships and major gifts. A limited number of major naming opportunities may be considered for gifts of $100,000 or more. Recognition will be thoughtful and restrained, in keeping with the spirit of Eshbal.

Who manages the campaign’s donations?

Project donations are managed through Dror Educational Houses — Hechalutz. Gilad can provide the relevant giving information and help ensure your gift is designated for the Eshbal center. View organization documents ↗
